I think the BJP has to get it's thinking right and be a nationalistic party rather than play politics for gaining votes like it did in Jammu at the cost of the country.Seems they are back to Hindutva and Ram Mandir when the country has moved into the 21st Century.Their take on terrorism backfired post 26/11 now they are politicising the same event...What a shame!
The BJP today defended Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s claim that there was “local support” to the perpetrators of the Mumbai attacks while the Congress called his remarks “anti-national.” Speaking at the BJP’s national council meet at Nagpur on Sunday, Modi claimed that “attacks like 26/11 couldn’t have happened without ‘local support’.” Seconding the political resolution moved by party general secretary Arun Jaitley, that “India was being turned into a soft state by the UPA government”, Modi said: “While the government is talking of Pak involvement in the Mumbai attack, it’s quiet on the other aspect (local support) because of votebank-driven politics”.
The Mumbai police have said that so far there is no evidence of local support and they are probing the alleged involvement of Fahim Ansari and Sabahuddin Ahmed, both implicated in the attack on the CRPF camp in Rampur.
