After braving rain and continuing the Telangana march beyond the 7 pm deadline and choking Hyderabad till almost Sunday midnight, the Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) finally called off the stir at around 11.50 pm. Announcing this at Jal Vihar on the Necklace Road, TJAC chairman M Kodandaram said this was only a beginning and thundered that they would undertake indefinite fasts soon in pursuit of their separate statehood demand. He insisted that they would not budge till the Centre announced a roadmap for creation of Telangana state.
