Aiming at wooing back foreign tourists, a subway train in Seoul will sport the Incredible India logo and slogan from this week as part of the reinvented global campaign launched by the tourism ministry.The subway train in Seoul would be painted with the Incredible India logo and images to promote Indian destinations, said Leena Nandan, joint secretary, tourism ministry.
The subway campaign will continue for a month.
The tourism related information will be available in the train during the campaign. Besides the subway train, the ministry is launching a series of new TV commercials on international channels including BBC, CNN and National Geographic as part of the reinvented Incredible India campaign. “We have reinvented our ad campaign which will also establish a connect to the prevailing global trend,” said Nandan. In the aftermath of Mumbai terror attack, the ministry is planning to launch a new set of print and TV ads across the world. “Our new campaign will feature on the Net and print also. There will be hoardings showcasing India at important places as part of our aggressive outdoor campaign,” Nandan said.
