More than 300 combat vehicles and 60,000 troops took part in the Shoor Veer exercise near Hanumangarh in Rajasthan on Thursday. The exercise close to the Indo-Pak border displayed synergy between the army and the air force in launching air-land battle. It also demonstrated their capability to orchestrate battle in a network-centric environment with integration of reconnaissance, surveillance and electronic warfare assets to provide real-time updates to commanders. Army chief General V K Singh reviewed the exercise.
