Making history in its space program, India on Sunday successfully launched its 100th mission with the workhorse PSLV - C21 placing in orbit two foreign satellites. The mission was described as a "spectacular success" by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who watched the launch sequence from the mission control centre at Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
