Somewhere in the Karnataka BJP....

After quitting the BJP over a year ago, former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa had vowed to start his political career on a clean slate. He rejoined the BJP amid fanfare and regretted leaving the party.
“I’ll never repeat the mistake of leaving the party. I’ve rejoined the BJP to free the country from the Congress. It was a wrong decision to quit the BJP due to which a listless Congress came to power. I’m not power hungry. The moment Narendra Modi was declared PM candidate, I expressed my intent to rejoin the BJP by writing to its national president,” Yeddyurappa said.
He wants the party to win 20 of the 28 Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka. On Thursday, the Lingayat strongman performed puja at the Kadu Malleshwara temple in Malleswaram before joining the party as a primary member by paying Rs 105.
