Twenty-eight lakh people — including pilgrims and sadhus — took a holy dip in river Ganga in Haridwar on the occasion of ‘Somvati Amavasya’ during the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela. The sadhus belonging to Niranjani Akhara reached Har-Ki-Pauri, the main bathing ghat in a procession and took a holy dip in the river followed by sadhus of Joona Akhara.
