Kalanamak is among the most aromatic rice varieties in India. Soft and easily digestible, it has a long shelf life
History of its cultivation dates back to 600BC. It is grown in Siddharthanagar, Mau, Azamgarh and Sant Kabir Nagar districts of Uttar Pradesh
