The Taj Group has set up a Taj Public Service Welfare Trust fund to provide immediate relief to all victims of the recent terror attacks, including to the families of those who were killed. The trust will continue to discharge its mandate in coming years, specifically covering relief to victims of sudden acts of violence, natural disasters and other tragic events that inflict damage to life and property. “Besides Indian Hotels Comapny Limited, the Tata Trusts (Sir Dorab Tata Trust and Sir Ratan Tata Trust) have committed significant initial contribution to the trust,’’ said a spokesperson of the Taj Group.
