MTHL crawls

Seven international consultancy firms have submitted their bids for the preparation of techno-economic feasibility report for the ambitious Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) project to be undertaken by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority(MMRDA). The tender for the project is likely to be awarded by October 2012. The bidding firms include Mott McDonald, Ramboll Engineering Consultancy, Scott Wilson India, Arup-CES-KPMG, AECOM-SN Bhobe-Darashaw, Louis Berger Group Inc and Stroi project-BLOOM-CMC. MMRDA’s additional metropolitan commissioner Ashwini Bhide said, “The project will change the way people travel between Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. Although much of the work has already been done, a few permissions need to be renewed and ground realities need to be underlined.”
