Senior BJP functionary and ex-deputy prime minister L K Advani called People's Democratic Party (PDP) patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to discuss government formation in Jammu & Kashmir.
Sources said the two discussed ways to end the dead lock over the government formation by joining hands.“The negotiations between PDP and BJP are going on at different levels and in this regard Advani called Mufti,“ said a BJP functionary.
He said there has been no forward move ment as both parties are bargaining to gain maximum leverage before coming up with a Common Minimum Programme.
