MP chief minister Shivraj Chouhan's claim that his state had done better than all major states in state domestic product set off speculation that he was suggesting that MP had done better than Gujarat.
This would be the first time that Chouhan has directly suggested that his state was better than any other. Chauhan on Saturday tweeted: “Economic Survey 2013-14 tells MP has outdone all major states of the country in GSDP growth, excelling on all growth parameters. Congrats.“
This tweet was followed by another that read: “Per capita Net State Domestic Product growth of MP is 20.10% as against the all India average 10.44.“
