Tata Motors drives in Hexa



Tata Motors added Hexa SUV in its line-up as it looks to regain market share and turn around ailing domestic operations by driving in new cars. The company , which drove in Tiago compact last year, launched the seven-seater Hexa with an entry price of Rs.12 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).The new SUV , whose top-end variant will cost Rs.17.5 lakh, will compete with likes of Mahindra XUV500 and Toyota Innova. Hexa has a 2.2-litre diesel engine and will come in six variants: three each in manual and automatic options. It promises a fuel efficiency of 14.4 kmpl.

Hexa is the fourth model and the first all-new SUV under the company's revival plan tagged as HorizonNext strategy. The company will discontinue SUV Aria with launch of Hexa, which is being manufactured from Pune plant.
