Somewhere in Nanded....

Nine blackbucks were killed in Nanded district in the last three days, five of them in Bannali village of Dharmabad taluka on Wednesday. Forest officials have booked a farmer from Adanga village in Loha taluka for allegedly causing the deaths of the antelopes by electrocution. Farmers in the district erect electric fencing around their groundnut farms to protect them from animals, including blackbucks. The farmers have buried the carcasses somewhere in the farm after killing them. The first incident involving electrocution of four blackbucks was reported from Adanga village in Loha taluka on Monday. The village sarpanch informed the forest officials about the incident. Four carcasses were found dumped in a dry well with their legs tied.
