On NaMo's birthday

On his third visit to Gujarat in one month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi pulled out all stops to woo his home state of Gujarat on his 66th birthday on Saturday .
From seeking blessings of mother Hiraba to courting tribal vote bank in Dahod in central Gujarat, laying foundation of Rs.4,000 crore irrigation scheme and facilitating three world records while enabling differently abled in Navsari in south Gujarat, Modi celebrated a rather whirlwind birthday in his home state. Modi was wished by governor O P Kohli and Chief Justice of India T S Thakur at Rajbhavan along with other BJP leaders.
Modi's frequent visits are considered crucial to bolstering the BJP's chances in the 2017 polls as the saffron party faces toughest challenges in Patidar agitation and dalit uprising.
