Somewhere in Mumbai....

Mumbaikars on Wednesday broke out in a riot of colour and danced to loud music amid chants of ‘Ganapati Bappa Moriya’ as lakhs of devotees took to streets to bid farewell to their favourite deity. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation worked closely with the traffic police to ensure peaceful processions of Lord Ganesha across the metropolis. The 10-day festival culminated on Wednesday with the immersion of elephant-headed God

BMC has to be congratulate for the special arrangements made for Ganpati Visarjan. This year system was so strong that no one has to stuck in traffic, and it was awesome, to be on the roads for the Ganpati Visarjan. Specially scenes at Shiwaji park and at girgaum chowpatty were amazing. Its always fun to be a part of Ganpati Visarjan in Mumbai.
