Tiger found dead in Maddur

A tiger was found dead in Maddur forest range of Bandipur. The cause is still not known. The sample of goat meat that was found in the tiger’s stomach has been sent to the lab for testing to check if poisoning could be the reason. Principal chief conservator of forests B K Singh has ruled out trap, snare or gunshot for the death.
