AIRSIDE

A parallel network of taxiways running along the two existing cross-runways is being constructed

11 Rapid Exit Taxiways by 2013

An Air Traffic Flow Management System is being set up to manage air traffic better

The airport has completed the reconstruction of the main runway, which involved its upgradation and resurfacing over a period of seven months

The width of the main runway has been increased from 45 m to 60 m to accommodate Airbus A-380 aircraft

The airport has also completed reconstruction of the secondary runway and the resurfacing of the runway intersection

Two Rapid Exit Taxiways are currently under construction
