The Cabinet Committee on Infrastructure (CCI) on Wednesday approved 15 highway projects spanning over 1,814km worth Rs 15,680 crore in a move that is expected to give a boost to road construction activity and lead to better connectivity. Barring one, all other projects are four lane or six lane and four of them are in poll bound states of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

6-laning of 124 km Agra-Etawah bypass in UP at Rs 1,343.82cr
6-laning of 160.2km Etawah-Chakeri Kanpur stretch in UP at Rs 1,652.3cr
