Of Lalu & Sons....

After lying low for nearly six years, RJD chief Lalu Prasad held a huge rally at the Gandhi Maidan where he formally launched his sons, Tej Pratap and Tejaswi, into politics, saying time had come to promote youth and that his party would give 50% tickets to youth and women.
With an eye on the Lok Sabha polls next year, the former CM devoted a part of his speech at the ‘Parivartan Rally’ to his intention of installing a secular government in Delhi in the “coming days”. He asked people to give a fitting reply to “communal forces represented by Narendra Modi and L K Advani”.
JD(U) and BJP leaders said the rally was aimed at ensuring a change from S-2, a reference to Lalu’s brothers-in-law Sadhu and Subhash, who called the shots when the RJD was in power, to T-2, a reference to Tejaswi and Tej Pratap.
It was for the first time people saw three of Lalu’s children on the dais along with their parents. His wife Rabri Devi and daughter Misa Bharti were also present.
