The man who played an important role in Narendra Modi's journey from Gandhinagar to New Delhi, and was instrumental in taking the Nitish Kumar-led Mahagathbandhan to a stupendous win in Bihar, has joined hands with Congress for the UP and Gujarat polls.
Prashant Kishor, now an adviser to the Bihar CM, is also assisting the Congress in Punjab. The three states go to polls in 2017. He is said to have held a series of meetings with Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul to finalise the “terms and conditions“, and sought the freedom to take decisions independently
