Adlabs to be renamed Reliance MediaWorks

Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group firm Adlabs Films Ltd said it will change its name to Reliance MediaWorks Ltd, as it reflects its identity as a diversified film and media services company. The film has proposed to change its name, subject to shareholders and othe requisite approvals, the firm said in a statement. The firm, which operates cinema chain Big Cinemas, will increase the number of screens by around 100 in the next one year, said Adlabs Films chief executive officer Anil Arjun. Big Cinemas is one of the biggest cinema chains in the country and currently has 457 screens spread across India, the US, Malaysia and the Netherlands
