As Delhi Metro readies to roll into Noida, the excitement is palpable in the satellite township. Residents say they have been eagerly waiting for the day which, they hope, will put an end to all their commuting woes. The service to Noida is expected to start on November 13. Surprisingly, this time the news of the Metro opening has not affected property prices because of the general slump in the economy. Only rates of commercial properties have seen a marginal increase.
