DMK MP and former telecom minister A Raja seeks blessings from DMK chief M Karunanidhi at party head quarters. Andimuthu Raja, the once rising dalit face of the DMK landed in Chennai, his political playground, on Friday evening. Raja was arrested in the 2G spectrum scam on February 2, 2011 after almost three months of questioning by the CBI. He had resigned from his post on November 14, 2010. He arrived in the city after the CBI special court gave him permission to visit Tamil Nadu between June 8 and 30. He was received by DMK deputy general secretary Sarguna Pandian at the airport . The party top brass waited patiently for Raja to arrive from the airport. Karunanidhi greeted him with a shawl and a garland.
