Highway ki Baatein

In the next couple of months, you will be able to get updates on crashes, congestion and other information of a highway section across 13 corridors while driving down these stretches.
All you need to do is tune into All India Radio's FM channel. This service will cover more than 2,500 km on national highway corridors.
After the success of AIR FM's programme `Highway ki Baatein' on the Delhi-Jaipur stretch, it is being extended to some major highway corridors passing through Haryana, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Odisha, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
Sources said the World Bank, which is supporting road transport ministry to popularise this `highway advisory system (HAS)', has given its approval. These stretches include Delhi-Chandigarh, Bhopal-Indore, Lucknow-Gorakhpur, Nagpur-Raipur, Mumbai-Pune, Ahmedabad-Vadodara, Chennai-Bengaluru, Cuttack-Puri and Kolkata-Asansol.
