Jet Airways voted one of the world’s top ten airlines

India’s premier private airlines, Jet Airways, has been voted one of the world’s top 10 airlines in ‘Best in Travel Poll 2008’ conducted by SmartTravelAsia.com. The airline was seventh in the poll of the world’s best airlines and placed fifth in the business class category for its acclaimed, herringbone-configured premiere product and sixth in the cabin services category. Kingfisher Airlines was the other Indian airlines noted by customers for excellence in cabin service.
Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways and Thai Airways have been listed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in all the categories.
Air Deccan ranked seventh and SpiceJet eighth in the top ten budget airlines category.
The present honours are the latest in a series of accolades for Jet Airways. In June 2008, Jet Airways received awards for being one of the ‘Top 5 Airlines by Growth in Passenger Carriage’.
