Sanand may have shot to fame after Tata Motors drove in its project here. But Ford also is setting up a plant here is steadily turning into a large industrial hub with a number of food, FMCG, engineering and pharma companies pumping in money into the area.
Investments to the tune of Rs 8.343 crore have poured into Sanand in the past three years.
State-run Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation also plans to invest in a new industrial estate, electronics park, multi-modal logistics park and the Changodar-Sanand Special Investment Region.
