IndianOil Corp (IOC) on Wednesday announced a big hike in transport fuel rates, increasing the price of petrol by Rs.3.07 a litre and that of diesel by Rs.1.90 in Delhi, with a corresponding rise across all other states. The hikes came into effect midnight on Wednesday , the company said.
In Mumbai, the cost of petrol per litre will be Rs.65.79 litre from Thursday and that of diesel, Rs.55.06 litre.
