Paramount flies to the West

Paramount Airways spreads its wings beyond South India..now connects Ahmedabad to Chennai.“The airline will soon start services from Chennai to Mumbai, Pune and Goa. We will also provide convenient connections from these cities to Coimbatore, Cochin, Madurai and Thiruvananthapuram via Chennai, said Paramount Airways managing director M Thiagarajan. The airline holds a 26% market share in the southern sector.Passengers taking the newly introduced Paramount flight from Ahmedabad can fly to many southern destinations such as Coimbatore, Madurai in Tamil Nadu and Cochin and Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala.“The Mumbai service will start by the end of the month while services to Pune and Goa are scheduled introduced from next month.” Acknowledging that this is the toughest time to be in business, Thiagarajan said that “we are aiming to provide good service to business travellers who frequently travel between western states and southern states. By doing smart business we are able to provide full service onboard. Ahmedabad was chosen after studies showed that there is a demand for flights because of industrial development in both the states. But, we are planning to provide air services within the western states and also link all of them to cities in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.”
