Shyam Telelink set to launch

Shyam Telelink, a subsidiary of Russian telecom giant Sistema, will start mobile services in CDMA space from September 30 in Rajasthan, to become the first operator among the new licencees. Shyam Telelink has got pan-India CDMA spectrum and in process to rollout network through out the country. Following Rajasthan, Shyam would start services in the southern circles in the next 2-3 months, sources close to the development said. Shyam has received a pan-India licence for offering services, with spectrum in all the circles.The company has already set up over 800 towers in Rajasthan and is also setting up a network across the country to start services.Shyam received start-up spectrum in the CDMA space on an all India basis, thereby placing it among the likes of Reliance Communications and Tata Teleservices.
