BRTS route leading from Soni ni Chawl to Jashodanagar will be thrown open to the public on Thursday. The 4.5 km BRTS stretch will complete the first phase of the connect between the eastern and western part of the city. The new Ahmedabad Janmarg Ltd (AJL) route will be an addition to the 31-km long existing route of the BRTS. There are a total of eight bus stops on the route. Another major route that is being added to the BRTS network is the Gujarat College-Ellisbridge elevated BRTS corridor.
