Days later, the CM had to apologize to the assembly when his government placed the names and details of rape victims in public, a legal offence. On Monday he will again fight from his corner, as the PDP rails him about Yusuf ’s death. The mysterious death of an old NC activist, Mohammed Yusuf, near or in the CM’s house, has made the Opposition seek his resignation. The PDP has also moved an adjournment motion in the assembly. And the ripples through NC should worry Omar. Omar’s cabinet is viewed with derision as comprising upstarts and political lightweights. The aftermath of each disaster has left him bruised. This is the Babalog nightmare come true.
