After establishing itself as an institute of repute among the film fraternity, Pune’s Film & Television Institute of India (FTII) is going full steam ahead with an ambitious plan to set up a world-class Global Film School.The information & broadcasting ministry has given FTII the go-ahead to construct a building on an adjacent 28-acre plot to house the new state-ofthe-art film school.A total of Rs 50 crore has been sanctioned for the ambitious project and FTII has already hired an architect to design the building. The school is expected to be up and running in about three years..
