India successfully testfired two indigenously-developed, nuclear-capable ballistic missiles, both with a strike range of 350 km, from separate locations off the Orissa coast on Friday. While Dhanush was tested from a naval ship in the Bay of Bengal at a spot between Paradip and Puri, Prithvi-II surface-to-surface ballistic missile was fired from a mobile launcher at Chandipur-on-sea. The range director said the launch was ‘fantastic and fully successful’
