IRNSS-IF

The sixth navigation satellite of the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS) will be launched at 4 pm on March 10 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
The 1,425 kg satellite (IRNSS-IF) is the sixth of the constellation of seven satellites which will make up the system. It will be used for disaster management, terrestrial navigation, fleet management and visual and voice navigation for drivers, among others. It has two payloads -one related to navigation and the other for ranging.
