Mamata against Telangana

YSR Congress president Jaganmohan Reddy will get Trinamool Congress’s support when he opposes the Telangana reorganization bill likely to be tabled in Parliament in the winter session. TMC has 19 Lok Sabha MPs. Added with two of YSR Congress, three of TDP and 20 Seemandhra Congress MPS, the number of MPs voting against the formation of Telangana now becomes 44.
“I met Mamata Banerjee for her support against the bill. Whatever the Central government is doing is unacceptable. The bill should be withdrawn. Before taking such a decision, consent of the state assembly should have been taken...,” Jagan said. Describing Jagan as her “brother” Mamata extended full support to his struggle against the proposed division of the state.
