RaGa's ready

Rahul Gandhi has acknowledged that there could be some amount of “anti-incumbency” against UPA and that the outgoing regime might have committed one or two mistakes, even as he said he was “103%” ready to become PM if Congress MPs so desired.
Talking about the UPA’s incumbency burden, Rahul told ETV, “Ten years is not a short period, it's a long period.” He also admitted to “one or two mistakes”, but added that the government also did a lot of work. The admission came halfway through the Lok Sabha polls when the combined burden of inflation, unemployment, allegations of scam and perception of stagnation seem to have hobbled Congress and its allies.
Saying that he would agree “not 99% but 103%”to be PM if party MPs so desired after the polls, Rahul said the government under him would change India. “It will change the system and structure. It will not be a conventional government. It will be a radical government and will change the structure radically. It will give a tremendous performance,” he said.
He added that it would “not be a Rahul Gandhi government. It will be a government of the people of India, whose voice will resonate in the corridors of power.”
“We will give as much power to people as possible in every sphere so that they can draw power automatically, being citizens of this country. You work and we will trust in your abilities will be the approach,” he said. Attacking Modi’s rule in Gujarat, he said there has been no Lokayukta and there was hidden corruption. “Courts are telling Gujarat to bring Lokayukta, bring RTI,” he said.
