MMRDA had yet to choose a model for the third corridor of Colaba-Bandra-Charkop, the longest single corridor of the Metro project and its costliest yet, at Rs 12,000 crore.The nine-corridor Mumbai Metro project is to be executed in three phases and is due for completion by 2022. The first corridor is expected to be operational by January 2010.
