MMRDA has begun the bidding process for the Mumbai Trans-Harbour Link project as the Japan International Cooperative Agency (JICA), which is funding the venture, has given its final approval.
“We have begun the bidding process and work will start on the ground in the next six months,“ said metropolitan commissioner UPS Madan. JICA has consented to fund 80% of the project cost. A formal loan agreement is expected to be inked soon.
