PM shouldn't wash India's dirty linen abroad: Saamna

The Saamna editorial on Wednesday slamming PM Modi for his sermons on corruption in India during his foreign sojourns will further deepen the BJP-Shiv Sena divide, said political experts.
“One should talk of good things about one's own country when on foreign visits,“ said the Sena mouthpiece.
The PM enjoys good image in foreign countries. However, his views on graft may compel other nations to toe a separate line (on investment in India) and this may adversely affect our economy , Saamna warned. “To wash India's dirty linen abroad amounts to bringing the country's name to disrepute,“ stated Saamna. The Sena later issued a statement to declare that Saamna reflected party president Uddhav Thackeray's views on the subject.
The Saamna harangue is an indication that the Sena is all geared up to take on Modi, irrespective of the party's partnership with the BJP .
