However, his views on graft may compel other nations to toe a separate line (on investment in India) and this may adversely affect our economy , Saamna warned. “To wash India's dirty linen abroad amounts to bringing the country's name to disrepute,“ stated Saamna. The Sena later issued a statement to declare that Saamna reflected party president Uddhav Thackeray's views on the subject.
