India has issued a diplomatic missive to China on its continued block on a UN ban on JeM chief Maulana Masood Azhar.
India's foreign affairs ministry confirmed that demarches had been served to the Chinese embassy in New Delhi and in Beijing by the Indian embassy. China once again blocked a joint move by the US, the UK and France to proscribe Azhar in the UNSC 1267 Committee. The move on January 19, saw 14 out of 15 members agreeing to the ban, but China's block prevented it from happening.
