Navi Mumbai airport to be delayed by 4 months: CM Fadnavis

Rescheduling the project deadline, he said it would be delayed by at least four months. Instead of December 2019, the first runway and one terminal building would be completed by March 2020, Fadnavis said.

Coastal road

For the coastal road project —from Nariman Point to Worli—the state has had to change the notification for the initial permissions. Tenders for the project were invited in October and BMC will soon start work, said Fadnavis. He added that work has been allotted for the Bandra-Versova sea link and survey initiated for a new sea link between Versova and Virar.

Mumbai Trans-Harbour Link

Work for the Rs.18,000-crore project, for which the state received a loan from JICA, started in March and will be completed by December 2022.

Metro

The CM said 60% of the work on the Dahisar-DN Nagar Metro corridor has been completed and the first Nagpur Metro train will run on on March 1, 2019.
